Terms of Service for Participants

These Terms of Service govern the use of Veloxshot by event participants and photograph buyers.

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Veloxshot as a participant, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

Veloxshot is a marketplace that allows you to:

• Search for photographs of events in which you participated.
• Purchase and download the photographs that belong to you as the subject.
• Search by bib number, facial recognition (selfie), or by browsing event galleries.

The photographs belong to the photographers. Veloxshot facilitates the search and purchase; each purchase is a transaction between you and the photographer, with Veloxshot acting as the technological intermediary.

Selfie-Based Search and Biometric Data

The selfie-based search uses facial recognition technology. To use this feature, you must provide your express and separate consent at the moment the selfie is captured. Your selfie is not stored: it is processed instantly against the event's facial vectors and then discarded.

Minors

Veloxshot prohibits the use of the selfie-based search by individuals under 18 years of age without the express authorization of their parent or legal guardian. By using the selfie search, you declare and attest that you meet this requirement. Responsibility for non-compliance with this restriction rests with the parent or legal guardian.

Withdrawal of Consent

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of biometric data at any time via the Privacy Preferences link in the website footer. The withdrawal takes effect immediately.

Purchases

• Prices are displayed in local currency. Payments are processed via Stripe.
• Upon a completed purchase, you will receive download access to the acquired photographs. This access remains available as long as your account is active.
• For guest purchases (without an account), download access is granted via a tokenized link sent by email.
• Photographs are delivered in high resolution, without a watermark, for personal use.

Permitted Use

You may:

• Download and keep the purchased photographs for personal use.
• Share the photographs on your personal social media accounts.
• Print the photographs for personal use or as a gift.

You may NOT:

• Resell or sublicense the photographs.
• Use the photographs for commercial purposes (advertising, merchandise, etc.) without additional authorization from the photographer.
• Alter the photographs to falsify identity or commit fraud.

Reporting Content

If you believe a photograph violates your right to your image, privacy, or the rights of third parties, you can request its review and eventual removal by writing to legal@veloxshot.com. Veloxshot will review the request and, when appropriate, suspend the visibility of the photograph while it is being investigated.

Limitation of Liability

Veloxshot facilitates searches and purchases; it is not the owner or ultimate custodian of the photographs. Responsibility for the content and image rights rests primarily with the photographer (see Photographer Agreement).

Account and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from your Settings. Veloxshot may suspend accounts that engage in abuse, fraud, or misuse of the service.

Amendments

Veloxshot may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified and will require a new acceptance.
